MEET YOUR ESCROW OFFICER ERIK OKLAND
Erik is a Glendale native and the younger of 2 sons of immigrant parents who moved from Norway to Southern California just weeks after getting married. He attended Hoover High School, and only left Southern California to obtain a degree in Business Administration from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
Erik has been an integral part of Inter Valley Escrow for over 2 decades. He began his career with a summer job as the company’s part-time messenger, then returned after University to learn the ropes as an Assistant, then promoted to Escrow Officer in 2001. He was the Manager of the La Canada Flintridge branch for a number of years, and now maintains his desk out of the Glendale and Pasadena offices. Erik has been awarded the Ascent Award at Inter Valley Escrow for 3 out of the last 5 years. The award is given to the Escrow Officer who has the greatest increase in business year over year. Erik’s hard work and determination come through to every client on every transaction.
Erik is committed to a life-long process of learning and self-improvement. He attends constant training at the Escrow Training Institute and by attending various Escrow Association meetings to stay current on escrow trends, new laws and challenges affecting the industry. Together with his business coach, he continually reexamines communication and work-flow processes as an embodiment of the phrase “work smarter, not harder”.
Erik devotes a significant amount of time and energy to charitable work. He is currently a committee member of the Pasadena Foothills Association of Realtors In Action (PFAR Charitable Committee) helping raise funds for local charities in the Pasadena area. Where time can’t be spent, Erik contributes financially to a number of causes that he strongly believes in such as the Wounded Warrior Project, Los Angeles ASPCA, City of Hope, and Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles, to name a few.
Helping people attain homeownership is very rewarding for Erik. With his attention to detail and outgoing personality, Erik’s clients feel supported throughout the escrow. He strives to make himself personally available to his clients throughout the day. What can be a potentially stressful process of paperwork, forms, and time sensitive tasks becomes easier as Erik brings his attention to detail, efficiency and outgoing personality to each person involved in the transaction.

A Southern Californian native, Lina received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology at the University of California, San Diego and currently works out of our Glendale Branch. She is bilingual and offers Escrow Services in both English and Korean. Her attention to detail, insightfulness, and ability to remain calm and adapt make her a perfect fit for escrow. Lina loves to spend her days off checking out new food hot spots, attending music festivals and watching football on Sundays. Fun facts: Lina is left-handed and a craft beer enthusiast.

The child of two escrow officers, Logan learned at an early age to communicate clearly and process stress in a constructive way. Logan’s escrow career kicked off in 2020, as he returned home to Glendale from Colorado, where he received a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. His friends and colleagues describe him as patient, analytical, adaptable, and determined. In Logan’s free-time you can often find him with his two black-cats playing video games or working on his hobby of developing his own intricate board games.
